I'm pretty familiar with ppt, but am getting an error when trying to save a

presentation - acts like it's saving, but says "Press ESC to cancel save"

then doesn't save. This is a large slide show and I'm wondering if it's just

too big for the program to handle' Tried different formats and destinations,

but no luck.

Thanks for any input!!

    • You get that message in 2007 when saving is going to take a long time. This

is often when you save large presentations as a .ppt file in compatibility

      mode.

Do you press ESC when you see that message? If so, it won't save (because ESC =Cancel the save). What happens if you just leave it alone for a while?
